God fresco
Michelangelo painted his portrait of God on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. Here is a copy of that fresco, used as the basis for a series of anatomical studies as a student art project. This fresco was painted with tempera paint on plasterboard, as were the samples shown next to it on the home page.
