Rascal the Recycling Raccoon

Rascal is the Los Angeles Zoo's recycling and waste management mascot. Originally designed in 1999, along with an annual recycling activity book,

a natural gas vehicle, and a costumed character, the program has gained many honors. Rascal's latest theme is to "Celebrate California Wildlife."
